About The Event

Friends of St Giles Hill Park Chairman Harry Mycock invites you to join him on a Walk in the Park on one of three dates: 17 or 27 June or on 12 July. Harry is a Chartered Horticulturist, an experienced Garden Designer and Tour Guide; he's also a qualified Mountain Leader but promises to stick to the paths with no abseiling :)

These walks are free and exclusive to Friends of St Giles Hill Park.

Harry will be talking about such things as the Management Plan, progress in establishing the Friends charity, the history of the park and its design features and more. The improvement opportunities will be discussed too. This is an opportunity to gather thoughts and consider what we might hope to achieve over the coming years.

With Winchester City Ccouncil committed to a consultation on the Park, this walk will enable you to develop your thinking as you cover the ground seeing the reality today and imagining what its future could be.

Numbers are limited to 12 for each walk; to book your place please complete the booking form below or send an email to SGHParkFriends@Outlook.com.

Meeting Point for the Walks: The Viewpoint, St. Giles Hill.
