Sheena Smith

Trustee

Sheena has worked for many years as a Teacher and Music Specialist, in both Mainstream and SEND Education. Throughout her working life, she has been interested in ways to bring communities together, and has been involved in inspirational community music projects, both in school settings, and with the community choir where she was Chair of the committee for several years.

She grew up on a farm, where respect for the land and the natural world was nurtured from an early age. Caring for our planet has long been an important consideration, with the idea that we have a responsibility, not just to ourselves but also to future generations.

She has lived in Winchester for fourteen years and her choice of location was very much influenced by closeness to St Giles Hill Park. Her children and grandchildren also appreciate all the Park has to offer on their visits to Winchester.
