Our Partners

Since we began, we have reached out to the local community and other voluntary groups, seeking help and advice and offering our support and assistance. We believe a strong community of like-minded individuals offers the best chance of our mutual success. We are proud to number these organisations among our friends and partners.

These local residents’ associations have been generous supporters and from their ranks come most of our volunteers and donors.  Many thanks to you all.

Hampshire Gardens Trust logo

One of our earliest collaborators. Together with Hampshire Gardens Trust, we have discovered much of the fascinating history of the park.

The City of Winchester Trust supported us from the beginning. We work with them to ensure St. Giles Hill Park can make its fullest contribution to the landscape setting of Winchester.

CPRE Hampshire logo

We support the Magnificent Meadows project and are collaborating on improving the wildflower meadows.

Hampshire Bat Group logo

Bats can often be seen flying in the park after sunset. Together we have completed our first survey and held our first joint event.

Hampshire Ornithological Society logo

We are grateful to the Hampshire Ornithological Society for assisting us in our efforts to record and increase the bird population.

Heritage Open Days logo

We support Heritage Open Days by offering guided walks to learn about the history of St. Giles Hill.

Winchester Garden Festival Logo

We are pleased to support the first Winchester Garden Festival by offering guided walks by our Chairman, Dr. Harry Mycock, a Chartered Horticulturist.

We support each other and  collaborate to give opportunities for residents and visitors to participate in our activities and enjoy the nature and heritage that surrounds us. Join our community by becoming a Friend for free here.
