2026 Events Programme

We organise a full programme of events in addition to our regular working parties.   There is something for all ages - our walks, talks and other events appeal to those interested in gardening, nature, heritage and citizen science. We have an expanding list of partner organisations (link to partners page) who work with us on encouraging residents to meet the bats, birds, bugs and butterflies which call the park home or visit from time to time.

Working Parties

Our volunteer working parties usually meet on the first Wednesday and last Saturday of each month. Tasks include general gardening activities, clearing paths, litter picking, planting trees and bulbs and removing graffiti. If you want to help, just come along suitably dressed wearing stout shoes to the meeting place at the end of Northbrook Avenue.
what3words: ///truly.professes.jazz  at 10.00am.

New volunteers are always welcome, come along and enjoy the fresh air, some exercise and good company.  You will be given a safety briefing and training if required. Tools are provided or you can bring your own.
