ST GILES HILL PARK

Please join us for one of our upcoming Working Parties in the Park: mornings of 11, 18, 21, 23, 25, 27 & 30 October. Main tasks will be clearing paths and cutting back overgrown plants around railings. Please bring own tools and PPE, if possible (we'll have limited supplies available, if needed).

About The Event

Meeting: 10am on 11 and/or 18 September at the junction of Northbrook Avenue and Baring Road at 10am. Feel free to turn up - no need to register in advance!

Main tasks: Clearing paths and fencing along the main routes to the Viewpoint. The fencing clearance is to allow for painting.  The Probation Service is in line to undertake painting.  Briefing and allocation of tasks will be addressed on the day.

What to bring:  We will have some tools on hand but please, if you can, bring your own. Most useful tools: loppers and secateurs. Please also bring protective items, especially gloves, goggles and knee pads.

Weatherwise: Please wear weather-suitable gear! To note: Working Parties generaly go ahead rain or shine, but will be called off in case of especially poor weather.
