A lighter duty volunteering opportunity, compared to a Working Party.
As we continue to progress on helping improve our Park for all then there is a need to take stock of what we have, which will help inform what we could have. This might mean checking out and recording the likes of views, accessibility or bats. There are probably about a dozen such topics. The first planned survey for 2024 is to understand the park's many seats - their type, placement, condition, purpose, usage and opportunities. We can then work on improvements going forward.
If you enjoy an easy walk and would like to contribute then we will set out with phone camera, clip board with proforma and hi-viz jacket if you are so inclined and record what we have and think on what we might do to improve the existing and future seating on St Giles Hill Park.
