Enjoy a short stroll to consider St Giles, the patron saint of travellers, and consider the pilgrims who came to Winchester. The route will take in the top of the Park, the Graveyard and the long-gone chapel of St Giles.

About The Event
Join us for a short St Giles Day stroll across St Giles Hill Park to mark the feast day of Saint Giles and explore the hill’s rich connection to Winchester’s medieval past.
Meeting at the viewpoint, we will consider the life of St Giles, the lost medieval chapel that gave the hill its name, the historic graveyard, and the centuries of pilgrims and traders who gathered on this high ground above the city. Date & Time: Tuesday, 1 September at 18:00
