About The Event

This walk is part of a series of walks in the Winchester area, coordinated by The Winchester Ramblers - click here to view details of the entire Winchester Walking Weekend.

Discover Winchester from a different perspective on a guided walk linking three of the city's most beautiful hilltop viewpoints.

We'll begin at St Giles Hill, with its sweeping views over the historic city skyline, before continuing to the peaceful paths of St Catherine's Hill, a place rich in nature and history. Finally, we'll climb to Oram's Arbour, the great Iron Age earthwork that offers a remarkable sense of the city's past.

Along the way you'll hear stories of Winchester's landscape, history, and the people who shaped it. Expect fresh air, wonderful views, and a chance to see some of the most atmospheric corners of the city.

Come along, stretch your legs, and experience Winchester from the hills that surround it.…
