About The Event

The planting is being organised by life-long Park lover and user Ivan Gurdler, who is Winchester City Council's Principal Tree Officer, with input from local naturalist Anna Stewart and horticulturist and Chair of the Friends of St Giles Hill Park, Harry Mycock.

Come along and hear about what is being planted and why. Enjoy a hot drink and a homemade cake or mince pie. Children welcome - we’ll give them all the chance to plant a tree. Planting order based on time of sign-ups. Book your place now!
