About The Event

The epicormic exercise is a Working Party to remove the epicormic growth (the sprouts at the base) from the trees along the side of the Park in Baring Road.  This is an ideal way of working off any seasonal excess.  Some loppers, secateurs and gloves will be available but bring your own if you have them.  The cuttings / arisings will be stacked for later removal by arrangement with Winchester City Council. If we have an any spare capacity then further clematis removal and fence repair will be on the task list.  Meet at the junction of Baring Rd and Northbrook Avenue at 10am on 30 December 2023.
